The carbon capture and storage (CCS) facility at Boundary Dam Power Station remained offline during August 2021 as SaskPower continued repair efforts on the compressor motor. SaskPower expects the facility will return to service in October. Boundary Dam Unit 3 has remained online throughout the CCS outage, averaging 112 MW of electricity production during the month of August.
